As previous guests have already described, a TOP spot, friendly welcome, and super clean! A nice base for visiting Grou and surrounding villages. We rented an electric boat and sailed onto the Alte Veanen; what an experience! The peace and beauty are truly Frisian.

We will definitely be back here again 👌

And BafloBill was back again! Always at the same spot by the ferry. Traffic right outside the door, great! Leeuwarden by bike, Bergummermeer with a meatball by the Schalkeveer ferry, a beer in Eernewoude, a fried egg sandwich at Oostergo in Grou(w), fries in the heart of Wartena, a beer and port in front of the camper. Who could ask for more? See you again soon!

Top spot, immediately to the left after the barrier. Beautiful facilities and such a breath of fresh air, friendliness. Plenty of cycling opportunities, small swimming beach nearby. Local restaurant highly recommended.
