Located in the beautiful Veldhoek in Hengelo (GLD), our camper place offers you a rural, wooded environment in the beautiful Achterhoek. We offer clean and spacious sanitary facilities, restaurant and snack bar within walking distance and various walking and cycling routes. Don manages the camper place, Ellis runs the cafe. Our 3 daughters: Nicky, Kaya and Ize also help out in the company.
The name: `De Garve’ has been carefully chosen. A garve is a bundle of grain that is tied together and processed later. The name is a nod to the surnames Garritsen and Veenhuis and symbolizes the bringing together of family and the history of the land.

A new, beautifully landscaped camper site in the Achterhoek region. Sixteen paved camper pitches for various camper lengths. Super clean, new sanitary facilities. Reasonably priced, electricity is included. Ideal for cycling and dog walks. Friendly, proud owner who's happy to help. Next to the camper site is a restaurant you definitely shouldn't miss. We spent a warm, sunny weekend in January (below zero at night)—it was wonderful! Highly recommended!

Neat camper site with nice and clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are excellent. A camper site with potential, and in better weather, an ideal spot for hiking and cycling. The on-site restaurant is also ideal. We'll definitely be back when the weather improves; we had snow and strong winds.
