Indeed, there are only a few spots where you are parked on a paved surface. Otherwise, you are placed on a tiny strip of grass along the main road, almost in the backyard of a chalet. Because we had our 4-year-old grandchild with us, we booked here, but we expected a bit more of a "campsite" atmosphere and certainly a more substantial camper pitch. ### Arnovg - 3/5 *February 2026* Great location if you're planning to visit Ouwehands Zoo. The sanitary facilities are clean but dated. The campervan sites aren't great; we booked a paved site, but they gave us a spot next to the many chalets, which was a grassy strip. We didn't drive onto it because it was muddy. We had another spot, but to get there, we drove across the grass and got stuck. Lots of young people speed across the site on scooters. ### BethanyHiggins - 5/5 *November 2025* We stayed here for one night in October it was not busy at all, and we did not use much of the facilities. The reception was closed on the day we left, which was a Sunday. From the short stay we had here, the campsite was well maintained, peaceful, and friendly. We had a private toilet and shower at our pitch, which was very clean and nice to be able to use, and our pitch was not a bad price either.
