It is just sad; there is nothing, absolutely nothing, yet you pay a hefty price. If you say anything about it, you get a big mouth back. Then just go to Aldi.

We booked for two days and then extended our stay by one night. We really enjoyed it. Being right on the water was wonderfully relaxing. Free choice of pitch, electricity and water included. Everyone brings their own shower and toilet, which was perfectly fine for us. The owners are really friendly and come by several times a day to check on things and take the time to chat. There's a restaurant where you can eat well and an ice cream parlor. We'd love to come back.

Stayed last weekend. Indeed, too expensive for the service provided. The site is run by German and Dutch "regulars" who decide how and where you can pitch your tent (so close together that we couldn't extend our awning). They themselves did have plenty of space. The manager comes by and will probably tell "Peter" to tone it down a bit, but that's not much help when we're crammed together. Emptying the toilet has been made problematic. I doubt we will ever come here again...
