A magnificent place to stay. Beautiful forest, Middelstum is a nice village, and there is a manor opposite the camper pitch. Definitely worth a visit as well. And there is a (partially) barefoot path. A beautiful place for walking and cycling. We stayed there for a few days and found it very pleasant. The pitches are a bit cramped, but they don't seem to make a fuss if you move to another spot on the grounds where the 3 pitches are located. Highly recommended!

I had never been here before, but what a magnificent place Middelstum is, truly from previous centuries, and even a grocer in the form of a Plus supermarket. They were also busy setting up a small fair. The overnight stay area at the Ewsum camper site could actually be located on the opposite side; there is more space there, as well as TV reception.

Stayed in Middelstum again after a long time. It is still a nice spot.

It is just a shame that the 3 official spots are very narrow. A standard camper can just about fit between the blocks, but when you get out, you bump into the neighbor, hence no 5 stars.
The first spot is a bit more spacious, but apparently a small van lives there.
Furthermore, there are several campers scattered across the entire parking lot.
