Great camper spot.

Everything is very well organized and in excellent condition
Great restaurant

Very beautiful surroundings

And as for the asylum seekers' center, it is not nearby, so you won't be bothered by it at all

Stunning location! Wonderfully spacious layout. Friendly welcome. Barrier works with a card (deposit). Grey and black waste drains take a bit of searching but work.
Clean water is tricky. A water tap near the campers would have been handy.
Walking distance to Ter Apel Monastery: also highly recommended.

Beautiful camper site with a marina, sanitary facilities, and restaurant, within easy walking distance of the Boshuis monastery and hotel. It's well worth a visit, the only existing monastery in Groningen. All of this is situated in the beautiful Westerwolde nature reserve.
