If you want to stand in the official place, 6 meters is really the maximum. Otherwise you stand at the back against the post and at the front on the road. We were standing just next to the spot where the 6m20 fit. Busy road with a lot of traffic. Hardly any problems with airplanes.

great place to stay overnight! Nice view of a field and supermarket nearby. Unfortunately, cars often drive by with a lot of noise, so we slept well with earplugs!
