I wish I had more friends like Uncle Jan. In America, by the way, it is very common to park on people's or friends' yards. There is even a club for it, and as a member, you get all the addresses. Maybe set that up in Europe too? Just an 8 km bike ride away, right at the front of Lommel in Belgium, you will find a beautiful indoor heated swimming pool with a sauna and jacuzzi, and all for less than €5.

Oh, and thanks for those delicious strawberries.

It was amazing, we really enjoyed this lovely spot 👌 at Uncle Jan's. We were warmly welcomed and even received fresh 🍓 strawberries straight from the field.

These are the kinds of places that are unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. So wonderfully quiet, beautiful cycling surroundings. Everything a camper needs is there. We wanted to stay for just one night, and well, it turned into three.

Thank you, Uncle Jan, and we will definitely be back.

What an amazing spot 👌 these are the gems. A camper needs nothing more. Peace and quiet, nice view, friendly welcome, emptying tanks, filling up. Beautiful surroundings.
