Beautiful green campsite. Very friendly owners and very flexible. Excellent sanitary facilities and amenities such as a bread roll service, fresh eggs, and a boat trip to the cheese market. 8 camper pitches on a paved area in the grass and a few on asphalt. In case of emergency, there is a spot in the parking lot near the shed. It is a choice. Conveniently located for a bike ride to Alkmaar or the dunes near Egmond and Bergen. Nice campsite in the North Holland polder.

The sanitary facilities were good, but only two showers. Far too few, as this is definitely not a mini-campsite as described. We had booked two nights with our ACSI card. We were placed on a paved stretch of road, which was very unfriendly and completely unnecessary, as there were plenty of nice pitches available. It's a shame that ASCI is treated this way; if you don't want to give discounts, don't participate. Make your own choices!

A beautiful location for visiting Alkmaar, with lovely cycling routes.
The sanitary facilities were perfect.
A very warm welcome.
For €16 per person, you can take a boat from the campsite to the cheese market on Fridays. You'll disembark right on the quay. You'll be picked up around 3:00 PM for a canal tour of Alkmaar.
