For those who appreciate peace and nature, Camperplaats Texel is a beautiful base. Our camper pitch borders the Waal en Burg nature reserve, with its many bird species, fantastic sunrises, and panoramic views. Thanks to the central location on the island, you can take beautiful cycling and walking tours directly from the camper pitch. A neat bathroom with toilet and shower is located near your camper. Covered bicycle storage with an e-bike charging point is available. We kindly request families with children to choose another location; only adults stay at our camper pitch. Pets are not allowed. Lots of bird sounds, especially in the morning. Nicely central for bike rides and a fine sanitary building. ### WoutWieland - 5/5 *May 2026* Now this is a camper spot. An oasis of tranquility, centrally located between De Koog and Den Burg, with a fantastic view. With very hospitable owners, you feel welcome in every way. Sheep walk right past the camper, the sanitary facilities are excellent, and in the evening you can see the lighthouse beam; here you can truly unwind. You are literally pitched among the sheep. Neat and clean sanitary facilities and very friendly owners.
