Well-maintained campsite, close to the sea, ample cycling opportunities, dogs welcome with dog shower. Supermarket. Nice towns within cycling distance: Callantsoog, Schagen, Schoorl.

We loved it. Modern site. Automatic toilet cassette cleaning, free dishwasher. Dog shower area. Spotless restrooms. Magnificent scenery. Easy beach access.
In fact, we stayed two extra nights to enjoy it.

We were disappointed. The greenery on the campsite is poorly maintained. There were large stinging nettles on our pitch. Dog netting is not allowed. Fine, but please enforce this rule, as we saw several instances of other fences. Sanitary facilities were of varying cleanliness. It is a large campsite, so there is a greater chance of them getting dirty. There are also too few toilets. The beach was lovely and within walking distance. The supermarket was expensive, but it is nice that it is there. The patisserie is within walking distance and highly recommended!
