We stayed here for 2 nights. The pitches were nice and spacious, though. But otherwise, everything is quite dated.

What we found worst was that the chemical toilet has to be emptied into the grey water drain.

Afterwards, you have to rinse the cassette with the water hose you use to fill the camper with clean water.
Very unhygienic. When I mentioned this to the manager, he just laughed.
No wonder there were so few campers during the Ascension weekend.

Everything is fine here. I just need to get this off my chest, but I don't understand some of the reviews. Nice managers, good sanitary facilities, nice pitches, beautiful surroundings, great price. And yet, people think they are coming to a 5-star hotel where you typically pay €200 per night. Why not just leave a good review for a fine campsite! I almost never write reviews, but it seemed appropriate this time.

I read a lot about the price of this campsite. The basic price is 18 euros for SVR members. Electricity 3 euros and tax 1.05 per person. So it all fits quite nicely. It is a simple campsite with ditto sanitary facilities. You can choose whether you go to these types of campsites. But finding something better for this price in high season will be difficult.
