Camping Heetveld is located in the northern part of Overijssel, on the edge of Weerribben en Wieden National Park, in the village of Sint Jansklooster, 8 kilometers from Giethoorn. The campsite lies like a green oasis on a low hill, an old clay mound formed during the last ice ages.



The campsite serves as an excellent base for exploring the vast natural area by bicycle. The old Zuiderzee ports of Blokzijl, Vollenhoven, and Zwartsluis, as well as the Dutch Venice Giethoorn, are located within a maximum of 10 kilometers from our campsite and are certainly worth a visit.

As far as we are concerned, a solid 10+. Wonderful welcome from the lovely owners Peter & José. A very tidy campsite where everything looks neat and clean. The sanitary facilities are also very neat. You are situated right in the middle of the De Wieden nature reserve. There are beautiful cycling routes, and you can also take the Waterbus via Natuurmonumenten for a trip on the water. In short, it is well worth booking this campsite, folks....👌👌
