We don’t understand the negative reviews. The wardens were polite, helpful and happy to give local advice. The facilities are spotless, well maintained and in a great location for visiting Kinderdijk and Rotterdam. At around €22 a night it’s great value. Extra charges for showers, water and electricity are clearly advertised online,  so if that pricing structure doesn’t suit you, simply choose somewhere else We’d happily stay here again.

The site is very clean and quiet. The attendants are attentive and keep a watchful eye on the area, which is much appreciated.

We parked our campervan for two nights and cycled to Kinderdijk (about fifteen minutes) and Rotterdam (via the waterbus).
The site is well located.
