Ruigenhoek is managed by enthusiastic volunteers who are very helpful. Thanks to them, we were able to stay an extra night. The sanitary facilities are neat, very clean, and heated. Bring on the winter camping :-). Pitches: sun and shade, in a field or more sheltered, something for everyone. Walking the Zeereep path is highly recommended; there is a chance of spotting seals. Not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues due to accessibility.

I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, a death meant we couldn't make it. They were friendly on the phone, but it had to be done by email. The email explained it clearly, but I've lost my payment: "Because the period between your cancellation and your planned arrival date is less than 14 days, NO refund will be made according to the terms and conditions."
Sad and angry, no sympathy whatsoever...
I won't be booking here again!

End of season. Lovely quiet in terms of occupancy. Only downside is the traffic noise. But we will definitely come back.
