Parking Dagaliven

Great place! No car noise at night. I wish there were places like this in the Netherlands. Beautiful for walking. Picnic benches. Toilets. What more could you want? Thanks, Norway!

If you drive onto the P from Geilo, turn left at the end and then right at the bottom onto a gravel road. Drive a bit further to the lake. There are a number of great spots there. See photo. Depending on the camper, 3 to 5 spots. Germans and especially Norwegians knew how to find this spot on the water. Dutch less so. Furthermore, you can take a nice walk from both spots of about half an hour. Spot on the water gets 5 stars from us, the P 3.

I certainly do not share the opinion about a pleasant camper place. It is only a parking lot along the Rijksweg 40. You should not call this a CP. We do not call every parking lot a camper place in the Netherlands and Germany?!
