Beautiful spot on the edge of the Nordangsdalen valley. Many walks are possible: steep uphill, but also flat through the valley. The campsite has basic facilities (shower, toilet, outdoor washing-up area, playground, grass field for tents, gravel mixed with grass for campers, and a few small cabins). The small shop where you pay has enough for a few meals. Kim is a very nice man who manages the business and the campsite. There is a café/restaurant in the harbor.

The best thing here is the (extremely) beautiful surroundings. The campsite is very simple, but clean. This year (2024) the campsite has become even more expensive. (see photo with prices) Price actually disproportionate to what you get. But few/no alternatives available.

nice simple campsite for 300 Nok including electricity. You have to pay at the country store 100m away, but it was closed on Saturday after 3 p.m. We called the phone number at the entrance and the owner came by at 8 p.m. Nice view and reasonable places. The ferry to get there is free.
