A place to enjoy. The view is beautiful and it is very quiet in the evening. Standing by the water is the best spot, but there is also plenty of space behind the restaurant (open only on Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm). They ask that you put a small amount in the mailbox for this.

There is a small snack bar and a public toilet at the ferry. The two large white tanks in the water belong to a salmon farm. Few walking paths. No other facilities.

Fantastic place! Spent two nights.

Right after (or before) the ferry, right next to a dream of a picnic spot. We took a mini-cruise from the Lysefjordsenteret (within walking distance) to Preikestolen.

Great spot...lots of great picnic areas.

Feeled very quiet and safe at night.

If you stay here a while, you can hike to Sokkaknuten...amazing view!
