We stayed 3 nights right by the dam (max. 2 small campers). Beautiful view. Several options at Ståvatnet: it takes a bit of searching. Walk to Haukeliseter: 1.5 km along the water. Bakery with a tearoom: cozy, warm, delicious waffles. Many long walks for experienced hikers. For us (60+): marked walk to the summit of Kista (4.5 km one way - DNT blue=medium): breathtaking view.

There are also various spots for your camper in the surrounding area. And it is unbelievably beautiful here!
