Excellent marina parking for 10-11 campers with a beautiful view of the fjord! Price: NOK 200 is fair (pay online).

We stayed 3nights, great for fishing and the hike to Nordtoppen is beautiful. Alta itself is boring. Spots should be better spaced and defined. In the evening the whole parking gets filled more than allocated spots, some try to squeeze between the spots of others. when so full, only 1wc and 1 shower is not enough. Shower for 50Nok for 15min is a lot but indeed 2 can shower together. Laundry is 50 NOK for 3 hours, up to you how many cycles you do.

Beautiful view! That's definitely worth 5 stars. However, there's only one toilet and one shower available for all campers and marina guests. And that's really not much. This means you have to time your showers and toilets carefully, or you'll have to wait in line. An important tip: you have to pay separately for the shower (50 NOK), and that code only gets you one hot shower. So, if you're a couple, shower together!
