We hadn't made a reservation. Due to the rain, we weren't allowed to pitch on the grass field; all the gravel spots by the water were full. We were on the odd-numbered pitch next to the campsite, a long distance from the sanitary building. 580 NOK including 2 shower tokens is a steep price for this. Sanitary facilities clean. Hot water for washing dishes.

The campsite is in dire need of maintenance; roads, toilets/showers, but also the pitches. You are lured in with spots by the water, but you have to check in early for that. You get the feeling that they are taking advantage of the fact that they are one of the few campsites here. The price justifies better maintenance. Showers cost 15 crowns per 4 minutes. Furthermore, there is a bus right outside the door (use the ATB app) that takes you to Trondheim.

Lovely campsite with finally a few more sanitary facilities on site. Beautiful pitches with a view of the fjord.

Today I cycled to Trondheim on nothing but a good bike path, and this is really fun and manageable with e-bikes due to the steep inclines.
