The campsite is situated on both sides of a road leading to the ferry and is therefore quite noisy. This is bothersome, as you park your campervan right next to the road. Furthermore, the service building is only on one side. The fact that it was dirty didn't bother me. The service employee was very friendly.

Beautiful view from the spots by the fjord. You do have to like fishing, otherwise there is nothing else to do. The toilet block is dated and therefore does not look fresh, but it is clean.
It is near the ferry, which means there is regular traffic passing by (15 m from your spot). The ferry runs from 7:15 AM to 10:00 PM. So, something you need to take into account. Therefore, 3 stars instead of 2 due to the view.

It's a top-notch campsite. First of all: the view is amazing. Secondly: the manager/owner is very trustworthy, fantastic. Everything will be fine! Thirdly: you can rent excellent boats with fish finders there, at a reasonable price. Fourthly: What everyone raves about: the sanitary facilities. They're a bit outdated, but very clean. And for us, it was the first time without booking in advance, just choosing a spot. Perfect.
