I am happy to park in car parks and essentially this was what we needed to enjoy a brief stopover in Trondheim. However, the facilities were somewhat subpar. The toilet waster was overflowing and there was raw sewage all over the floor. We didn’t fancy filling up with the drinking water since the hose was in close proximity to the sewage. I am pleased we were not parked close this. I have emailed both the carpark email and Campcation to complain.

Worthless! 85kr per hour and you have to indicate in advance how long you want to park via the webpage. But when adding up the number of hours, the end time remains stuck at +1 hour, while the rate does increase. Drove away after trying for fifteen minutes and found a free spot a 10-minute bike ride from the center.

It's always a matter of expectations. Yes, you're standing on a huge stone slab, and yes, the water and waste disposal facilities are inadequate.

We paid €113 for two nights.

But the site allows you to reach this beautiful city on foot in a very short time. Parking a campervan in the city center is neither practical nor free. So, a hefty fee 🤣 for a parking space near the city.
