Back again after giving the place a bad score last year but it was the closest to where I was going. still not worth the money. have promised myself never to return.

Not worth the money - far too expensive for what you get. This is just a paved parking lot with electricity and access to a toilet and shower, and that for 500 kroner per day. No reception, and the key to the toilet/shower is only given out for a few hours a day. The space is overpriced and it shows, among other things, in that it is not more than 20% full in early August. 
On the positive side, it is a short distance to the center of Stavern

Nice place, close to the city center. A bit expensive, but definitely recommended.
