Excellent overnight stop on the beautiful Sognefjellet scenic route 55 between Gaupne and Lom. The two public toilets are clean and heated, and it is also a good place to freshen up in the morning. A popular spot; by early June, there were already about 10 campers there. Arriving early means a greater chance of finding a level spot.

Google sent me here (I've forgotten the name of the village where the road began) on a narrow mountain road that took over an hour, with many steep and sharp hairpin bends. Eventually, I had to cross the mountain, but there was a small toll road with a tollgate. I had to pay 120 kronor by card. The mountain road had long stretches of 3 meters wide. Sometimes I had to go up and down in first gear. When I got here, the 55 also passes this CP. So if you're coming here, take the 55.

what a special place this is. The view is great although the mist from the valley still has to lift a bit. definitely stay here.
toilets are great and you can shower with your debit card. looks perfect. you can use the .WiFi right away.
so this place is recommended.
