it's quiet at night as the big lorries seem to stop running between 2200 and 0600. Good for overnight stop. no facilities except bin and honey.

Large, level, gravel car park. At night, lots of lorry noise from main road beyond trees and midnight swimmers. Wind blew dust storms across the carpark, so check wind direction and where your door is. Handy for the museum otherwise we wouldn't have stopped here.

Parking next to the main road. Picnic furniture and trash cans present. Nice view over swimming lake. hardly any traffic noise at night. Near the place Vemork where a very beautiful museum is located in a former hydroelectric power station. Known place from WW2 because of the production of Heavy Water! D2O. Rjukan really worth a visit.
