Parking Parque Atrelados

A new Outdoor Routes CP has opened opposite this "old" CP. There's no sign indicating you're no longer allowed to park there. The new one has a barrier and requires advance reservation (quite a hassle) and has eight pitches, so it also offers that beautiful view and is quiet at night. So, the stars are in favor of the new one.

This is a parking plateau, located directly on the shore of the large (reservoir) lake Albufeira de Alqueva. There are no facilities other than waste containers. Recreation area under construction with restaurant, toilets and boat rental. Had a very quiet, silent night, was great!

Photos 8-11 are from the CP at Amieira! Totally quiet at night, lots of lighting though. Nice place. There is an official prohibition sign!
