The pitch is actually very nice, but right behind it (20 meters) is a sewage treatment plant/sewage basin, and depending on the wind direction, it stinks terribly! What a shame…

Maybe not the most picturesque stopover, but it served its purpose.  Spacious pitches and water. No dumping facilities, however that didn't stop the Portuguese motorhome discharging his grey waste onto his pitch last night.  He waited until it was dark, but the thunderous noise of the water being deposited onto the sand gave him away. Big downside - the amount of flies! The town was worth the walk in the evening by the riverside path.

Nice quiet location beside the river. Short walk into town along the river bank. Public toilets and fresh water on site. Had a peaceful nights sleep. Caution for large motorhomes. Our sat nav took us in a decent route but tried to put us onto a narrow cobbled road on the way out. Got the hint when the oncoming traffic were beeping their horns and waving. All good fun. 
Quick turnaround and all good.
