Camping Parque Municipal de Campismo

Great location, really don't understand all the negative reviews. Location great, good pitches, 10 min to Coimbra by taxi, so right on the doorstep. Great pitches, good restaurant, extremely friendly staff. Sanitary facilities fine, an upgrade wouldn't hurt but clean and hot water. So in summary: an excellent campsite, don't hesitate!

There is some overdue maintenance. But it is a great location to visit Coimbra. We are here with a group as well, and I haven't heard anyone complain about the facilities.

Very poorly maintained campsite, we are here with 20 campers from the NKC all parked on a weed-filled field that normally fits 10 campers. The men went swimming and were actually supposed to pay €4 pp as well we got into a “discussion” about that and were then allowed in without paying
