Even after paying, the ticket machine at the entrance wasn't working. However, we received help via the hotline.

No wonder there was only one vehicle in the parking area, as the location is not recommended at all due to the noise from the nearby factory and the stench emanating from the locked toilet block.

As already mentioned, this is a former municipal campsite. Now part of Camping Car Park, which sometimes has quite nice camper pitches: but not this one!

Drive fast, poorly maintained, empty buildings, grass with grass seeds growing knee-high everywhere, a sad place. A shame, because it is quite a nice spot when it is maintained.

A former municipal campsite. Great location along the river and a small local supermarket 500m away.

The toilet block is indeed out of use. It has actually become a motorhome site and is no longer a campsite.

The average motorhome has those facilities themselves. Right??
Given the average temperature in Portugal, it is nice that there is so much shade.

The storm damage has been cleared up and a number of pitches have been leveled out.
