For a free spot, this is a very nice place to spend the night. We were parked right against the wall near the toilets. From here, there is a view over the entire grounds and the city gate. The village is nice, especially when the weekly market is on Friday morning. Then it is pleasantly bustling. The covered fresh market is highly recommended (on Friday mornings).

Stopped by briefly during the day, a beautiful town with tourist potential. Now it's all about becoming a full-fledged campervan site.

What a lovely campervan site to stay overnight, nice and quiet and well-organized. There are no facilities, but there is a public restroom you can use. The parking lot is very well lit. A lovely walk along the city wall.
Definitely worth a visit.
This is a gem.
