It is a shame that the storm destroyed the campsite, meaning there are no trees left and the old forest floor (grass or similar) is gone. For campers, it is impossible to find spots anymore without a sandbox of black/grey (windblown) sand.

Reconstruction takes time. You can see that hard work is being done. The layout is more logical, and there are paved spots. Getting your camper (almost) level is a challenge!

Sanitary facilities + pool are okay. €67 for 4 people + dog per night is quite expensive.

We spent a very relaxing few days here in September. Lovely walks and cycle trails in forest and by the sea, beachfront and town is very pretty. Campsite was quiet, we had a large patch to ourselves. Everything well maintained, clean, swimming pool very nice but cold! Reception staff friendly and helpful. Negative is pitching among pines so uneven and bit messy with needles and pinecones and the irritant processinary pine caterpillars everywhere.

Beautiful and well-maintained campsite. You can choose your own spot, and there was plenty of space during our visit.
The town is very charming and has a beautiful beach (surfing is possible)!
