The price-quality ratio is disproportionate. We have stayed at 4-star campsites that were cheaper and perfectly fine.

Beautiful campsite, at least off-season. It is situated in a peaceful, beautiful nature reserve between Cascais and Sintra, reasonably far away from the busy and touristy Cascais. A beautiful cycle path runs along the sea from the campsite entrance to Cascais (10 km). The route towards Sintra is also very scenic for cycling. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there is a nice swimming pool.

Friendly reception staff with good local knowledge. Campsite itself was pretty haphazard. It was busy when we arrived and finding a pitch big enough between the trees was hard work. Facilities in need of refurbishment. The showers were hot, but the water pressure was dire. Plenty hot water for washing dishes. Ideal for visiting Lisbon. €2 return on the bus and €5.60 return on the train. Lovely coastal cycle path to the town.
