The place is within 3 km of the city. That is easy to walk to via the river. Sanitary facilities downstairs are simple. Just like scouting sanitary facilities. No doors. Upstairs is better; there is a door, but it is low down, and the tap is difficult to get hot seems almost stuck. Otherwise, a friendly receptionist who is able/willing to speak to you in English.

Spacious campsite with many trees and many permanent pitches. Friendly welcome, English-speaking staff. We are given a pitch with a view of the river. Sanitary facilities partly Eastern Bloc level, partly renovated. Bread roll service at the bar. No washing machine, laundry service only (€4).

Nice campsite with friendly staff. Good and clean sanitary facilities with nice showers. Unfortunately, no swimming pool. Amarante is a nice town to visit. You can do this on foot or by e-bike.

The coordinates in the app are incorrect. You get stuck on the mountain with almost no turning options. The campsite is signposted in the town (at Termas de Amarante).
