Lamego parking

I don't want to be here in the summer, but now: it's fine. The trees here are great for heat stress relief. Busy during the day, empty in the evening. 10 campers? Could fit 100. Nice and close to town and stairs. Public restrooms.

There are a number of large parking spaces at the bottom of the stairs to park your camper. No facilities, but there is a water tap in the middle of the grounds. A perfect place to reach the centre from there, which is within walking distance. Had a quiet night.

Perfect free parking to visit the Lamego steps and chapel, you are basically at the bottom of the steps. The town is worth visiting with a lot of history and nice cafe, bars etc. There are no facilities there, just parking. We just visited for the day but a number of m/h had stopped the night.
