Great spot right in the center. Safe, quiet, and well-lit with a public toilet.

The church is beautifully illuminated in the evening. We were there on Sunday and parked with 4 campers.

I don't want to be here in the summer, but now: it's fine. The trees here are great for heat stress relief. Busy during the day, empty in the evening. 10 campers? Could fit 100. Nice and close to town and stairs. Public restrooms.

There are a number of large parking spaces at the bottom of the stairs to park your camper. No facilities, but there is a water tap in the middle of the grounds. 
A perfect place to reach the centre from there, which is within walking distance. 
Had a quiet night.
