A nice place to stay overnight and visit Sotres. Do you want to eat delicious regional dishes here? Then go to Hotel Sotres, it is truly fantastic!

Highest village in the Picos. Nice starting point for hikes to the heights. No facilities. Internet reception moderate. Good wifi in cafe-restaurants. Good to know: the road to the top is tough. Many narrow sections and hairpin bends where you have to go back to 1. Therefore: more suitable for narrower camper vans. I drove a Hymer 574 1998 / Fiat Ducato 2.8 TDI and luckily had few oncoming traffic. Glad I did it, but never again!
