Once you have secured a spot, this is a great place to stay for a visit to the city. Your best chance is to arrive between 8 and 9 at opening time and wait for campers to leave. On the first day, we arrived at 11:30, a lost cause. We spent the night at a parking lot in the vicinity of this spot, which many camper travelers do. Just make sure to place your parking ticket clearly visible on your windshield.

A good campsite for visiting San Sebastian. Very tight spaces. In 32-degree heat, I sat next to the campervan in a folding chair in the evening… a few minutes later, the police were there and informed me that this wasn't allowed and I had to stay inside the campervan… but they were very friendly 👮🏼👍🏼. The water and waste disposal facilities are okay, but very cramped.

The pitches are large enough for motorhomes up to a maximum of 7.5 meters. Camping and barbecuing are not permitted. Yesterday, we had temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius; after 9:00 PM, many people got their chairs out of their vehicles and sat outside. At 10:30 PM, I still measured 30 degrees Celsius inside my vehicle. The town is just a few minutes away and well worth a visit.
