A very local campsite run with great care and love, super friendly people, and spotlessly clean. You camp wonderfully in the shade under a canopy of plane trees. The beautiful long sandy beach lies on the other side of the headland, just a few minutes by bike. Laredo is a lively coastal town with a marina and an old town with many restaurants. You can take a boat to Santona. We liked that there are few foreign tourists.

Beautiful, very clean campsite with shade and spacious pitches. The staff is very friendly and cleaning is frequent. Water is available at the pitch. Bilbao can be reached by the Asla bus service for a small fee in 45 minutes. Be sure to book a ticket in advance. This can be done online or at the bus station. Definitely do this a day in advance.

Friendly staff, but we found this to be a much too busy campsite with small, cramped pitches. The town is absolutely not worth the effort. I had pinned my hopes on the old historic part, but that had nothing special either. The nature surrounding the campsite is beautiful, by the way! You can really enjoy yourself there. You do see the most beautiful sunsets here.

Good laundry facilities and clean sanitary facilities! Three stars because of the small pitches.
