Lovely small-scale campsite. A warm welcome, super clean restrooms. A nice little pool. In short, fantastic. Penafiel is a charming town where you can enjoy a delicious glass of wine. The surrounding area is also great for cycling. Enjoy wine tasting at a bodega along the way.

As I write this, we're still at the campsite. A fantastic welcome, excellent sanitary facilities, a lovely pool—in short, a solid 9.5. Definitely visit the castle and do a wine tasting. And cycling enthusiasts, ask the owner for a 45km route through a truly breathtaking area. As far as the eye can see, vines laden with grapes, walnut trees, and sunflowers (dehydrated) for their oil. A peaceful, relaxing paradise. And with your SVR card, you even get a discount.

A wonderfully quiet campsite with a refreshing pool and clean restrooms. There were flies, but we weren't too bothered by them. Flies are better than mosquitoes. We didn't see a mosquito.
