It was the end of the season and the campsite was empty, which made it truly lovely. The people are very friendly. The washing machine was acting up and they were really annoyed about it, so we didn't have to pay anything for two loads. Piornedo is cute with its round Celtic houses. The road there was a bit of a challenge though. A drop of 1000m in one go over 10km. If you're not careful, it will definitely cost you your brakes. Engine braking was difficult due to the 10% descent!

Beautiful campsite in the middle of nature. The sanitary facilities are super clean. The pitches sometimes require blocks. A municipal swimming pool, where you can enjoy swimming laps, is located behind the campsite and costs €1.50 per person. The owners are super friendly and offer a warm welcome. From the campsite, you can hike (circular walk) to two waterfalls, both walks about 6 km. There is also a beautiful gorge nearby (5 minutes by car). Pereda is beautiful.

Nice campsite. Friendly managers. Good sanitary facilities. Beautiful surroundings for walking. The days we were there, there were only 3 campers, so you could choose your own spot. You can walk right into the village. It is unique, but otherwise nothing special. If you are passing through anyway and want a few days of peace and quiet, I would definitely recommend it.
