Tavatet is a beautiful campsite in a stunning landscape with fantastic views. It's absolutely peaceful here. The only sound is a herd of cows. The pitches are well laid out. There's a toilet and several fresh water fountains, but no shower. The town's treasurer comes by once a day and collects €20 per night. It's well worth it, though.

So much scenery, so many options for short stays, and such tranquility – it's rare to find such a place.
