This is one of those campsites many drive past, but why? Fine and spacious pitches, clean, somewhat outdated sanitary facilities, but everything works. Lovely swimming pool and friendly and helpful staff. The old town is within cycling distance and can be reached via an excellent separate cycle path. And all that for €16 per night. So next time, stop here and don't drive past.

Great showers

We were at the back of the campsite and were perfectly situated under the trees

We found Peniscola itself way too touristy, but the campsite was perfect

We paid 16 euros per night including electricity
