Camping Don Quijote

We stayed here for two nights in November. A very nice, quiet campsite. Bus 27 runs about a 10-minute walk from the campsite and costs €1.75 each way to the center of Salamanca (20-minute journey). The sanitary facilities, etc., were very clean. We really enjoyed the restaurant on the campsite – excellent cuisine!

We were only supposed to stay here for a few nights, but it turned into five. We celebrated Halloween here with many others in the restaurant, with a Halloween-themed menu that was super delicious. Everyone was dressed up, and the restaurant was so beautifully decorated. It was truly amazing. Highly recommended.

This is our third time here. The welcome was friendly, the bathrooms were neat and clean. There's a restaurant (reservations are required); the city center is about 6km away, easily doable by bike. The Moai Fuort is a must-see.
