Contrary to what I read in other reviews, we really enjoyed our stay at Siljansbadet campsite. It is a neat site, wonderfully situated by Lake Siljan. I don't see any pitches being used for storage. The sanitary facilities are in excellent condition and there are great cooking and washing-up facilities, even with a dishwasher. The high season will likely be busy, as the campsite is very large. It is certainly recommended in the shoulder season. And there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Large campsite with 12 new additional pitches for campers. All with electricity and for 2 people, these pitches cost 300 SEK per night. The town is within walking distance. During the day, you can hear the train, as the station is directly opposite.

Large sites, check in and out worked well. Showers, toilets in service building 1 are not modern and do not feel "clean". Garbage station was full and potential cause for nuisance and would not want the site next to it. Some sites were for bulky waste and garden waste which gave a feeling of uncleanness.
