A great campsite to stay for a few nights to see the wooden town, cycle, and walk. Impeccably neat, modern, and clean sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome at reception. Reception is only open from 8:30 to 9:30 in the low season. Check-in by phone in the afternoon. Beautiful grounds with various types of pitches.

Fine campsite. The sanitary facilities are clean. What isn't mentioned anywhere is that there is a large military base in Eskjo. They dismantle mines and conduct shooting exercises. Huge bangs all day long. Not a problem for us, but our dog is terrified of it. For that reason, we left after one night. According to the reception, it wasn't that bad, but it was like this all year round. It is very normal here. Eskjo was deserted, but there was a delicious bakery.
