Beautiful, free camper site at a small harbor where fishermen fish 24 hours a day. Despite the activity, we experienced absolutely no disturbance. Only suitable for self-sufficient campers. Approximately 12 km from beautiful Gothenburg. The access road runs through an industrial area, but don't let that deter you. Highly recommended! Please note: there are absolutely no facilities, so come prepared.

Despite the lack of amenities, it still gets 5 stars. What a surprisingly nice place. As you drive up, you wonder where you’ve ended up! At a little gem with a sweet little marina right in front of you. There is a lot of fishing going on here, carried out by the friendliest fishermen.

We used it as an overnight stop while passing through, but we will definitely be back to visit the surrounding islands by bike from here!

*June 2026* 

Nice place. The first night we were alone, the second night with 6 campers. Gothenburg is easy to do by (regular) bike. Tip: cycle to Döckepiren, where you board the pedestrian/bicycle ferry to Lindeholm Piren. Transfer to the free ferry to Stenpiren. Then you are already in the city. You can also cycle directly to Stenpiren; that saves you about 7 km of cycling.

It is over 12 km by bike from the campsite to the city center.
