A rather average campsite, whose main selling point is its location. The allocation of pitches to electrical hookups is completely chaotic; you sometimes need up to 35 meters of cable. The showers with glass doors offering no privacy are also, unfortunately, unacceptable in my opinion.

A good, relaxed spot at the marina next to the moored boats; level, numbered, but rather narrow pitches on gravel and grass with a view of the water; free choice of pitch; very quiet; good, very clean and modern sanitary facilities, but far too few for over 30 pitches plus boats; 290 SEK/night including electricity, showers, washing machine, dryer, and water and waste disposal; payment by credit card at the machine.

Beautiful pitches by the water, at least if you're at the front. The pitch numbering and then finding the correct power connection is a bit confusing (at least where we were). Karlsborg is a pleasant town with the famous castle as its highlight. The showers and toilets were clean despite the crowds. The Göta Canal route is easy to cycle here.
