Great place right by the Göta Canal lock in Forsvik. 200 SEK which can be paid in cash or by credit card to a very nice shopkeeper on site. Toilets, showers, washing machine incl. Enough space to put out chairs and watch the locks. Barbecue area and picnic tables available. Not cheap but nice
The same goes for the disadvantages: no outlet and no electricity. But otherwise a fantastic place. Stayed for two nights, cycled to Karlsborg during the day and viewed the fortress there. Forsvik itself is special because of the preserved metalworking factory. Sluice at Forsvik from 1813. Pleasant activity. You look out over the Göta Canal. Free washing machine and dryer.
