What a beautiful setting. You can stay overnight at the second-to-last parking space. Toilets are available.

Breathtaking camper spot at the foot of the glacier by Lake Steinsee. Costs €32 per night.

Only a toilet is available; no other facilities. Beautiful trails for hiking. At the bottom, near the payment machine (500 meters), there is a small local shop selling regional products such as fresh milk, cheese, etc. Be sure to enjoy the mountain views and the snow-capped peaks. Top location if you are self-sufficient!

The fee has been increased to 30 PFR; you can now pay by card at the ticket machine when entering the area. Overnight stays are no longer permitted in the top car park, but they are allowed in the bottom two. A man came by late this afternoon to check.
